Interpretation of the trends shown in the Tables above

The increase in the number and value of loan disbursed over the years continues to rise. This is contributed mainly by the number of successful clients who have applied for further loans to either expand or diversify their micro enterprises activities. 

The Nett savings pool continues to play a significant role in the MF programme. Although the number of savers only continues to increase the value of savings portray fluctuating trends as a result of:  1. personal withdrawals to meet family needs and 2. savings as collateral for loan.
